The limits of an online consultation

A doctor consulting online cannot examine you physically, take your blood pressure, listen to your chest, or arrange a test or scan during the call. This limits what can be diagnosed remotely.

Clinical decisions rest with the treating doctor

ApnaDoctor is a platform that connects patients with PMDC-registered doctors. All clinical decisions – including whether to prescribe – are made by the treating doctor, not by ApnaDoctor and not automatically by any software.

Booking a consultation does not mean you will receive a prescription. Medicines are prescribed only where the doctor judges it appropriate and safe.
