This policy explains what ApnaDoctor (apnadoctor.net) does with the information of patients who book consultations, and of doctors who consult through the platform.

What we collect
ہم کیا معلومات لیتے ہیں
From patients: your name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email; the reason for your consultation and anything you tell the doctor; documents and reports you upload; your appointments, prescriptions and payment records.

From doctors: your professional details, PMDC registration, qualifications, identity and professional documents, and the account you are paid into.

Technical information is also recorded – the IP address a consent was given from, and the time of security-relevant actions.

Who can see your health information

The doctor you booked can see the information for that consultation and, for a limited period after it, your related record. Other doctors on the platform cannot. Our staff do not read clinical notes as a matter of routine; where a complaint or a safety concern makes it necessary, access is restricted, recorded and reviewable.

A doctor’s access to your record after a consultation currently lasts 14 days.
How it is protected

Sensitive fields and uploaded documents are encrypted before they are stored. The site is served over HTTPS. Access depends on your role, every view of clinical data is written to an audit log, and administrator accounts can be protected with two-factor authentication.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you what happened and what to do.

Messages you receive

We send appointment confirmations, reminders and notices about your prescriptions by email, by WhatsApp where you have agreed to it, and inside your account. WhatsApp messages deliberately carry as little detail as possible – usually the appointment time and a link to your account, not your symptoms or diagnosis. You can withdraw WhatsApp consent at any time in your account.

Payments
ادائیگیاں
Payments are handled by the payment provider configured for the platform. We keep the amount, the date, the method and the provider’s reference so that refunds and disputes can be settled. Full card or wallet credentials are not stored on our servers.

How long we keep it

Medical records are kept for as long as is appropriate for clinical and legal purposes, which is longer than the life of your account. Payment records are kept as long as accounting requirements demand. If you ask us to close your account, your profile is closed but consultation records are retained.
طبی ریکارڈ اُس مدت تک رکھے جاتے ہیں جو طبی اور قانونی تقاضوں کے لیے مناسب ہو، اور یہ مدت آپ کے اکاؤنٹ کی مدت سے زیادہ ہو سکتی ہے۔ ادائیگی کا ریکارڈ حسابی تقاضوں کے مطابق رکھا جاتا ہے۔ اکاؤنٹ بند کرنے کی درخواست پر پروفائل بند کر دی جاتی ہے مگر مشوروں کا ریکارڈ محفوظ رہتا ہے۔
